Veronika Tamfu

Veronika Tamfu is a dedicated Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Valor Health with over eight years of experience as a Psychiatric Registered Nurse. Her passion for mental health drove her to pursue a Master’s degree in Nursing with a Psychiatry and Mental Health specialty from Walden University, after earning her Associate degree in Nursing from Baltimore City Community College and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Notre Dame University of Maryland.

In her role, Veronika provides comprehensive care for clients with mental health conditions, including diagnosis and treatment through medications or psychotherapy. She also prioritizes educating clients and their families about mental health, advocating for the benefits and risks of medications, and setting realistic treatment expectations. Collaborating closely with other providers at Valor Health, Veronika helps develop treatment plans and coordinates care to meet each client’s unique needs, working with clients and families of all ages to achieve optimal health outcomes.

Outside of work, Veronika enjoys watching movies, listening to music, and supporting her children’s extracurricular activities. Her favorite color is purple, and one fun fact about her is her love for dancing.
